St. Claire is a traditional style neighborhood - the homes all have front yards and backyards, many of the streets are cul-de-sacs. The homes at St. Claire do not have Mello Roos.
Additional communities of single family homes include: Cottage Glen, Eldorado Village, Montage, Sienna Hills at Plum Canyon, Echo Pointe, Echo Ridge, Sage, Stonecreek, Woodcrest, and Heatherton.
The Mariposa townhomes have no Mello Roos, and the condos of Bordeaux offer a gated community.
Heatherton at Plum Canyon - these beautiful homes are located in the north side of Santa Clarita and provide homeowners with stunning views of Santa Clarita Valley; built by Shapell Homes they offer up to 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, are 2043 to 2920 square feet. with amenities such as outdoor living rooms with fireplaces, spacious living areas, and a community recreation center with swimming pool and spa.
Sage at Plum Canyon are also built by Shapell Homes on the north of Plum Canyon Road and offer beautiful views of the Santa Clarita Valley. The Sage homes are built in a traditional style neighborhood, with beautiful floor plans ranging from around 1900 to over 2500 square feet, with popular outdoor rooms with fireplaces. Some of the special features of Heatherton and Sage homes: they do not have Mello Roos bond payments, the homes feature builder installed eco-friendly solar systems, and a beautiful community pool and spa recreation area is enjoyed by the home owners.
Canyon Crest by KB Homes are built on a beautiful hillside location, many homesites offering sunset and sunrise views of the Santa Clarita Valley. These spacious four to seven bedroom homes range in size from close to 3200 square feet all the way to a over 4500 square feet, with 2 or 3 car garages. The floor plans have many variations with flex space, so there is a plan for just about everyone! There is no Mello Roos.
Canyon Heights by KB Homes are one and two story homes built in a hillside location. These are three to six bedroom homes ranging in size from 1925 to over 3600 square feet.
Mirabelle at Plum Canyon are being built by Toll Brothers, and will have the first move-ins during the early part of 2018. They have open floor plans up to 3000 square feet.
Avalon at Plum Canyon are also in the process of being built by Toll Brothers. They feature open floor plans up to 3500 square feet.
