Agua Dulce, which means "sweet water" in Spanish, is home to Vasquez Rocks, a stunning rock formation cause by an earthquake many millions of years ago. Vasquez Rocks was named after the bandido Tiburcio Vasquez who would meet up with his band in the hills between Soledad and Mint Canyons in the later part of the 1800's after the gold rush days. Due to it's striking back drop, Vasquez Rocks has been photographed in many motion pictures as well as television shows.
Agua Dulce is home to the Agua Dulce Winery, Agua Dulce Airpark and is located east of the Santa Clarita Valley just west of neighboring Acton.
Agua Dulce is home to equestrian ranches, and spacious homes which enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding hills.
